It
is a fact of life that some businesses will allow their clients
to run up credit of £5000, £20,000, or even - it has
been known - £800,000! Yet by the time the creditor realises
the monies will not be paid, the client/client company is already
experiencing financial difficulty. Alternatively, the creditor
will only then discover that this particular client has a poor
credit history and a string of debts to their name.
To
assist in preventing this from happening some of our clients routinely
use our services to conduct credit checks on new or more significant
clients before extending them credit or doing business with them.
P J Collections can run consumer and commercial credit checks,
carry out director or company searches (including home addresses)
and, where appropriate, bankruptcy searches and Land Registry
searches.
We
can therefore advise our clients of any poor or adverse credit
history, confirm contact business details they have been given,
and inform them of any CCJs (County Court Judgements), bankruptcy/insolvency
details, IVAs (Individual Voluntary Arrangements) and CVAs (Company
Voluntary Arrangements), thus reducing the creditor's risk through
early preventative action.
P
J Collections provides its clients with a confidential written
report, subject to the Data Protection Act and other relevant
legislation. We also ensure that any services provided are adequately
secure to protect privacy and to guard against any inadvertent
use of private information.
